All Swimmers and coaches must attend. Boats are assigned to swimmers. Rules of the race are explained and clarified. The course is described. Thurs Aug 10, 2005 6:00PM, Gardners Basin, Atlantic City: Power Boat Captain's Meeting. Meeting will be at Gardner's Basin. Exact and final location will be determined this week and more info will follow. All Captain's need to attend. If you cannot attend, you must be in contact with Ralph Yost prior to the Swim in order to receive the information coordinated at this meeting. The NJ State Police will be in attendance as may the US Coast Guard and the US Coast Guard Auxiliary (TBD). Instructions will be provided for communications, power boat operations, service to Race Officials, judges, Press & Media, and VIPs. Emergency services on the water should also attend to ensure smooth communication and coordination on the water. Saturday, August 12, 2005 RACE DAY, Gardner's Basin, Atlantic City: Volunteers report at 6:30am. Professional race begins at 8:00am. Awards Ceremony will take place at 6:00pm.
