Map of Absecon Island

1. START: Gardner's Basin, right to Absecon Inlet then right into the ocean (The ocean leg is 6.8 miles from Absecon Inlet to the Longport Jetty)

   Vermont Ave Jetty marks the beginning of the ocean leg

2. Pass the piers of Atlantic City: Gardner's Pier, Steel Pier, Central Pier.

3. Continue past the Ocean One Mall and Convention Hall in Atlantic City

4. Ocean One will be the last pier in Atlantic City
5. Continue down the beach past Ventnor
6. Ventnor Pier will be a long wooden fishing pier
7. Continue along past Margate and the Margate Fishing Pier
8. After Margate will come Longport

9. Passing the Longport Jetty, turning into Great Egg Inlet, then into the back bay behind Longport (which is the Intercoastal Waterway, [ICW] )

10. Pass under the Longport Bridge and then onto the docks of Margate
11. Behind Margate, keep the first island on the left, following the Intercoastal Waterway
12. The second island behind Margate will pass on the right (following the ICW) straight for the Margate Bridge
13. Continue along behind Margate to Ventnor
14. Follow the ICW around the bend to the Mile Stretch (Ventnor)

15. After the Mile Stretch, pass under the Dorset Ave. Bridge in Ventnor

16. Continue along Inside Thoroughfare (ICW) into Atlantic City
17. Pass along past the Chelsea Heights section of Atlantic City

18. Pass the Wonder Bar and under the Albany Ave. Bridge

19. After the Albany Ave. Bridge, pass the Bader Field Airport and the Sand Castle Baseball Stadium
20. After the airport, pass under the Expressway Bridge and through the Railroad Bridge (swing bridge)
21. After passing the RR bridge and the Convention Center, continue along behind the Venice Park section of Atlantic City
22. Continue along behind Venice Park
23. Pass under the Venice Park Bridge (Rt. 30)
24. Continue along the ICW
25. Pass Harrah's Casino and under the Brigantine Bridge
26. After the Brigantine Bridge, pass the Coast Guard station and proceed to the finish at Gardner's Basin
27. Finish at Gardner's Basin
